RoboVM 0.0.14 has been released

Today we have the pleasure to announce that version 0.0.14 of RoboVM has been released. Read on for the most important changes in this release. Upgraded Android runtime classes The Android runtime class library in robovm-rt.jar has been synced with Android KitKat 4.4.3 (the previous versions were based on Android 4.1.1). This brings bug fixes and new features, e.g. you can now use java.util.concurrent.ForkJoinPool in your RoboVM apps. Please note that a few classes have been moved around in this release. If your app uses security related classes from the org.apache.harmony.xnet.provider.jsse package you should change the package to com.android.org.conscrypt....

Initial Xcode6 / iOS 8 beta support pushed

I’ve just pushed a change which fixes launching on the simulator when Xcode6 beta is installed and another bug related to ICU. I don’t have access to any iOS 8 device so I cannot test that it works on actual hardware at the moment. I’d appreciate some help if anyone’s got an iOS 8 beta device. These changes will be in the next nightly (20140611) which will be available on http://download.robovm.org tonight (GMT+2). A new 0.0.14-SNAPSHOT will be pushed to Maven Central tonight as well.
